Program Highlights

In 2024, the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) took bold steps toward innovation and growth, enhancing the experience for our participants like never before. This year, we proudly recruited approximately 1,500 youths, with 977 submitting digital applications—a smooth transition to an online process that better mirrors today's job market.

We provided job readiness training to 549 participants and placed 405 of them in meaningful job roles. By introducing smaller, more interactive training groups and streamlining our program into one immersive 7-week session, we delivered a deeper, more personalized experience for both participants and host sites.

These changes were shaped by the valuable feedback we received from youth, families, and host sites, all working together to prepare our participants for real-world success.

Let’s get ready for an exciting summer 2025—full of new opportunities and even more growth!
