Note: The bulk of our appointments (250+) are posted every Monday morning [excluding holidays] at 8:00 a.m. for the following week.
We also have a limited number of same-day appointments that are available at each of our two locations so please check throughout the day for those appointments!
Please review the required documents before scheduling an appointment, and please remember that a check or Money Order are required for each application.

Walk-in services are only available at the 5325 Airport Blvd. location between 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Due to scheduled appointments taking priority, please be aware you may encounter a long wait time.
IMPORTANT: If you arrive without all the required documents, we will not be able to sign you in so please be sure to review the requirements prior to coming to the office.
We reserve the right to stop accepting walk-ins before 2:00 p.m. if our staffing is limited.

The Travis County District Clerk Passport division helps those applying or reapplying for passports. Our goal is to keep the citizens of Travis County as safe as possible in these uncertain times, so we have sneeze guards at each of the agent’s desks for everyone’s protection. Required Documents
Please review the required documents below to verify you have everything you need when you arrive to your appointment. Important: Bring a check or money order for the U.S. Department of State fee. Please call our office at 512-854-4295 if you have any questions and an Acceptance Agent will be happy to assist you!
Payment Information
Passport applications require (2) separate payments:
1. Payment to Travis County District Clerk Acceptance Facility: Payable to TCDC
- $35 execution fee per application
- $14.00 passport photo fee (if taken by the District Clerk’s office).
- Payment can be in the form of cash, check, money order or credit/debit card* ($3.00 convenience fee applies on card transactions).
- If more than one person in your group is applying, all the fees can be combined and paid to our office.
2. Payment Payable to the U.S. Department of State
- Passport Book: $130 for adults, $100 for minors (15 years of age and younger)
- Passport Card: $30 for adults, $15 for minors (15 years of age and younger)
- Passport Book & Card: $160 for adults, $115 for minors (15 years of age and younger)
- Payment must be in the form of a personal check or money order only and is submitted with the application.
- If you have more than one person with you or in your family applying for a passport, please provide a separate check for each application as they are attached to each individual DS-11 application form. Please indicate the applicant’s name and date of birth in the memo area of your check or money order.
Processing Times
The following are the processing times as of 10/3/2024:
- Routine Processing is 4 to 6 weeks.
- Expedite Processing (for an additional $60) is 2 to 3 weeks.
Check your application status online
You may not be able to get a status update for 2 weeks after you apply or renew. During these weeks, your application and supporting documents are safely on their way to the U.S. Department of State for processing.
