Back to School Bash 2019
On Friday August 16th members of our community celebrated back to school at the Southwest Family Fellowship Church. Dinner, water inflatables, face painting and a silent disco kept kids of all ages having fun while caregivers were able to pick up personalized backpacks for 173 school aged children in over 50 families. Also on hand were the Safe Child Booth from Constable Stacy Suits office, Free Child Saving accounts from A+ Credit Union, free Healthy Eating demonstrations from Travis County AgriLife; Dell Health Plans Information; Free Haircuts, and free school physicals provided by CommUnity Care Oak Hill. Volunteers from Southwest Austin Rotary helped serve Double Dave’s pizza and fruit, as well as many other volunteers who made the day special and a celebration.
