Application Process

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the seven Travis County Community Centers' offices are closed to the public, except for food pantries, which are available by appointment. To apply for rent and utility assistance, you can access an application by selecting your community center.

For food pantries please call the community center of your choice to find out about getting food assistance. Most Centers can help you the same day, but may need to schedule appointments to help ensure social distancing.

For financial assistance, please include as many of the required documents as possible when you turn in your application. Applications for financial assistance are good for the calendar year due to funding requirements. Applications must be submitted after January 1, 2021 to receive assistance for 2021. If you have questions, please contact the community center you applied to.

Once we have received a completed application, it will be placed on a waiting list for that site. When your turn in line comes up, a caseworker will call you to discuss your application and next steps.
