Who We Are
This Joint Subcommittee brings together representatives from Travis County, the City of Austin, and the Austin Independent School District (AISD) to collaborate on issues that impact our shared communities. This partnership fosters discussion, coordination, and strategic planning on a range of topics that affect residents, schools, and local governance.

Meetings
The Joint Subcommittee holds regular meetings to discuss shared priorities and coordinate efforts across Travis County, the City of Austin, and the Austin Independent School District. Agendas, meeting minutes, and related resources are available below to ensure transparency and public access to the committee’s work.
- The Joint Subcommittee convenes meetings three to four times annually as determined by the committee.
- Meetings are generally held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Location rotates across the three entities.
