The administrative services division supports TCJPD by staffing, training, and meeting the administrative mandates and facility’s needs. The division includes Human Resources, Financial Services, Research, Volunteer Services, Food Services, Training, Compliance and Accreditation, and Facilities Management. These teams help TCJPD fulfill its mission by creating a safe and secure place for youth. They also give direct support to the Department’s employees.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
