Unless otherwise agreed by the parties and properly announced, or notified by the Judge, ALL contested hearings and trials are in person at the new CFCF located at 1700 Guadalupe Street, Austin, TX 78701

Metered parking is available on all streets surrounding the Civil and Family Courts Facility. View map

In addition, the following public lot is available one block south of the Civil and Family Courts Facility: The University of Texas Guadalupe Garage

 

Safety Measures
To provide a safe environment for all citizens, you will be required to go through a screening process similar to an airport. The Travis County Sheriff's Office is in charge of security at the court facility and you should be prepared to encounter X-ray machines and metal detectors. If you have received a summons from the Travis County Jury Office, use the I-Jury system to register as a juror (see link for more information). Visit the Jury Duty page.

 

How Do I Know Where To Go?
Follow the instructions on your court assignment email and report to the Civil and Family Court Facility as directed.

TAX RATE: TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 8.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $22.42.
