About Courts

The Travis County Court System is comprised of Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, Juvenile Courts, Probate Court, Drug Court, Veterans Court, DWI Court and the Justices of the Peace.

District Court records are maintained by the Travis County District Clerk. County Courts at Law records are maintained by the Travis County Clerk. The District Clerk is also responsible for jury impaneling.

Courts Technology Access Portal

Provides access to the Appointment Management Portal (AMP), Civil Calendaring Online (CCO) and Criminal Docket Search applications developed by the Courts Technology Team.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
