Quick response times are an important component of our customer service. Once the location and call nature is received, the helicopter is dispatched immediately and generally airborne within 4 to 8 minutes. Scene flights and inter-facility transports constitute over ninety percent of STAR Flight responses.
STAR Flight makes every effort to complete all mission requests. However, personnel and aircraft safety is paramount. When weather conditions are not suitable for flight, STAR Flight will notify your dispatch in as short a time as possible in order to allow your resources to determine the next best method of transport.
