Internships provide law school students and post-bar graduates with the opportunity to gain exposure to the practice of law at the Travis County Attorney's Office. During an internship, an intern can assist in trial preparation, draft motions and briefs, and participate in hearings or trials with an approved State Bar of Texas Supervised Practice Card. Internships are offered within the Office's Trial Court and Family Violence Divisions.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
