Our paid Summer Clerk Program offers law students valuable hands-on experience while working alongside attorneys and staff dedicated to seeking justice equitably and fairly. We are committed to creating a safe, positive, and challenging environment where you can develop practical legal skills, deepen your understanding of prosecution, and see firsthand how the law can be used as a tool for change.

Important Dates for Summer Clerkship Opportunities:
- Summer Clerkship Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026 (10 weeks)
- FALL
- Application Deadline: Nov. 7, 2025
- Decisions by: Jan. 5, 2026
- If you are not selected for an interview during the Fall application period, you may apply again during the Spring.
- SPRING
- Application opens: Jan. 6, 2026
- Deadline: April 17, 2026
- Decisions are made on a rolling basis until all spots are full. The earlier you apply, the better!

*After you apply, you may be invited to participate in a virtual 20-minute interview with members of the Criminal Division leadership team, which may include Directors of both the Trial Division and Protective Order Divisions.
We are also currently accepting Post-Bar Clerkship applications.
Post-Bar Clerkship Dates: Aug. 24, 2026 - Oct. 31, 2026
