Schools and workplaces have fire drills. Why not neighborhood community fire drills too?

In 2011, the Bastrop County Complex fire killed 2 people and destroyed 1,673 homes. This sparked Travis County to implement the state's first organized neighborhood fire drill run by Commissioner Brigid Shea, Travis County Fire Marshals, Parks, Sheriffs, Lake Travis Fire Rescue and the residents of the Comanche Trail Association.
