Travis County Fire Marshal’s Office will be conducting Fire & Safety inspections on Travis County Permitted Mobile Vending Units beginning October 1, 2017. This will improve the safety of your unit and make mobile food vendor inspections more consistent. For your convenience, these inspections will be conducted at the same time and place as the Health Mobile Vending Permitting Inspections. Remember, mobile vending permitting inspections are at 1520 Rutherford Lane on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 7:45am - 11am.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
