Travis County’s TCTX Thrive 1.0 Small Business Relief Program was designed to offer a response to the economic crisis related to COVID-19 through reimbursement grants of up to $40,000 from the Coronavirus Relief Funds via the CARES Act and business coaching for 224 local small businesses that met eligibility requirements.

On January 24, 2023, Travis County Commissioners Court approved the TCTX Thrive 2.0 Small Business Relief Program. It is open to small businesses that were on the waitlist for TCTX Thrive 1.0 program but did not receive assistance.

The TCTX Thrive 2.0 Small Business Relief Program is allotting up to $2 million of American Rescue Plan Act funds to assist small businesses on the TCTX Thrive 1.0 waitlist that need assistance remaining open and supporting job retention by providing grants of up to $40,000.

TCTX Thrive 2.0 is being implemented with BCL of Texas as the program administrator.
