Effective January 2, 2020: In order to fully comply with the eFile mandate, the District Clerk’s office will no longer be accepting paper documents in Adoption or Termination/Adoption cases filed by attorneys. These documents must be filed through an Electronic Filing Service Provider. For a list of available providers, www.efiletexas.gov. Please mark as sensitive and confidential when e-filing the cases. Please call 512/854-9457 or e-mail [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
Effective January 1, 2018: Attorneys are mandated to e-file any and all documents in criminal cases with the Travis County District Clerk except for indictments/complaints. The Travis County District Clerk is mandated to follow the rules set by the Texas Supreme Court.
