The District Clerk's Office will close at noon on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Effective January 2, 2020: In order to fully comply with the eFile mandate, the District Clerk’s office will no longer be accepting paper documents in Adoption or Termination/Adoption cases filed by attorneys. These documents must be filed through an Electronic Filing Service Provider. For a list of available providers, www.efiletexas.gov. Please mark as sensitive and confidential when e-filing the cases. Effective January 1, 2018: Attorneys are mandated to e-file any and all documents in criminal cases with the Travis County District Clerk except for indictments/complaints. The Travis County District Clerk is mandated to follow the rules set by the Texas Supreme Court. TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.6 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $11.00.
