Partners

We partner within TNR with the Development Services Division and the Public Works Division, to ensure timely and complete environmental review of county-funded and private development projects.

We also collaborate on specific cases, and dependent on the jurisdictional area, with the County Attorney’s Enforcement Litigation and Collections Division, Travis County Emergency Services’ Hazardous Materials Coordinator,  Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services’ Environmental and Consumer Health Unit, City of Austin Watershed Protection Division, Texas Agrilife Extension Office, Capital Area Council of Government (CAPCOG), the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and our many municipalities within Travis County.

Our program is also supported through our memberships with the Travis County Dumping Committee, Regional Environmental Task ForceCentral Texas Land and Water Sustainability Forum (CTL WSF), Regional Water Quality Plan Work Group (RWQP) and Keep Austin Beautiful (KAB).
