Judge Chu is happy to conduct all wedding ceremonies.

Ceremonies are conducted inside his courtroom by appointment at Justice of the Peace, Pct. 5 in the historic Travis County Civil Courthouse located on the first floor of 1000 Guadalupe St, Ste. 112 Austin, TX. He is generally available every day including weekends, holidays, and after business hours/evenings. Ceremonies can be conducted in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (with advance notice to schedule an interpreter).

Judge Chu is also available, by appointment, to perform wedding ceremonies by video-conference (Zoom).

To mitigate the risk of COVID-19 for in-person wedding ceremonies, Judge Chu requires participants to wear face masks (even during the ceremony). If any participant shows COVID-19 symptoms before entering the courthouse the wedding ceremony will need to be rescheduled. Livestreaming/recording the ceremony is allowed.
