Due to health and safety concerns regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), Justice of the Peace PCT. 4 will be operating with limited operations until further notice.
- Read the JP4 limited service notice effective November 18, 2020.

Note:
- All non-essential court proceedings will be rescheduled or held remotely until after February 1,2021
- Residential evictions applicable to the court’s standing order will be abated until after February 1,2021
- No writs of possession shall be issued until February 1,2021
- Any jury trials must be tried remotely until February 1, 2021
- Class C ticket appearances are rescheduled until February 1,2021
- No warrants for failing to appear to court for traffic tickets will be issued until February 1,2021

REMOTE HEARING INFORMATION
The Honorable Raúl Arturo González

Judge Raúl Arturo González was elected to the office of Justice of the Peace, Pct 4 Travis County in November 2006. Judge González served as assistant counsel for the State Board of Educator Certification and the Texas Education Agency. He also worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Travis County District Attorney’s Office for 6 ½ years.
Judge González was born in Austin, Texas and graduated from David Crockett High School in South Austin. He attended and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, and later returned to the University of Texas to earn his law degree. He has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since 1996.
