YOU ARE AN ON-CALL JUROR.
You do not need to report for a court assignment unless you are called/emailed with specific instructions.
Dear Juror:
Your juror registration form has been reviewed and you are now qualified to serve as a juror and have been assigned on-call status. You will not need to report for jury service unless the Jury Office calls/emails you with a trial assignment. If you are called to receive an assignment it will be between the jury service dates you were assigned.
Please note the following:
DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES STARTING ON OR AFTER THE ANTICIPATED REPORT DATE YOU WERE ASSIGNED. This is to ensure your availability for the anticipated trial period. The conflict dates you submitted on your reporting form were accommodated, and this trial assignment should not interfere with those activities. We recommend you write your jury assignment on your personal calendar as a reminder.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO REPORT TO JURY DUTY UNLESS YOU ARE CALLED/EMAILED. If called, you will be provided with detailed instructions on when and where to report for jury selection. If an emergency arises that prevents you from reporting as instructed please call the telephone number listed below for the court to which you are assigned. Please be sure to regularly monitor your email account for status updates.
YOU HAVE NOT YET BEEN SELECTED TO BE A JUROR. You are reporting for jury selection. If you are concerned that serving as a juror will cause you economic hardship, you will have the opportunity to bring this issue to the attention of the judge.
Most importantly, THANK YOU for performing this essential service for our community.
