This meeting may include one or more members of the Bail Bond Board that will participate by videoconference. The presiding officer and a quorum of the Board will be physically present, and it is their intent to preside over the meeting at the Travis County Administration Building, Commissioners Courtroom-Executive Session Room, 700 Lavaca Street, Austin, Texas 78701. The meeting shall be open to the public during the open portions of the meeting, and the member participating by videoconference shall be visible and audible to the public for as long as the member participates while speaking.

Members of the public may attend in person or listen to the meeting and give comment before the Bail Bond Board on any item on this agenda by joining the meeting room by calling 512-854-8326 and entering the conference ID: 117 616 598, followed by the pound key (#).

A. Consider minutes of the May 3, 2023, meeting and take appropriate action.

B. Consider the request from American Surety Company for the release the security on deposit for license # 205,467 for its agent Debra Ojeda d/b/a Kwik Bail Bonds #2, and take appropriate action.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 8.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $22.42.
