Ms. Ortega-Carter called the meeting to order.
A. Consider minutes of the January 7, 2026, meeting and take appropriate action. Mr. Engle moved, Lt. Everill seconded, and the Board voted to approve January 7, 2026, minutes.
B. Discuss updating the Bail Bond Board approved Checklist for Bail Bond Board Site Visits and take appropriate action. Mr. Engle moved, Lt. Everill seconded, and the Board voted to approve the modifications to the checklist for Bail Bond Board Site Visits. Judge Myerson abstained.
C. Receive update from the County Attorney’s Office on possible violations of the City of Austin’s zoning regulations for bail bond companies and take appropriate action. After a discussion, Mr. Engle moved, Lt. Everill seconded, and the Board voted for the County Attorney’s Office to send a second letter, via certified mail to Ashley’s Bail Bonds and Universal Fire regarding the City of Austin’s zoning regulations for bail bond Companies. Judge Myerson opposed.
D. Discuss updating Bail Bond Board website and documents to include new email. This item was passed to next month’s meeting.
E. Public Comment
Mr. Engle moved, and Lt. Everill seconded, and the Board voted to adjourn.
