Ms. Ortega-Carter called the meeting to order.
A. Consider minutes of the June 3, 2026, meeting and take appropriate action.
Mr. Engle moved, Ms. Mendez-Rendon seconded, and the Board voted to approve June 3, 2026, minutes.
B. Consider the renewal application for Bankers Insurance Group, agent Lidio Ortiz, Jr., dba Bring’em Home 24/7 Bail Bonds license #072024, and take appropriate action.
Mr. Engle moved, Mr. Blackburn seconded, and the Board voted to approve the renewal application for Lidio Ortiz, Jr., dba Bring’em Home 24/7 Bail Bonds license #072024. Mr. Botello abstained.
C. Consider the renewal application for Lexington National Insurance Corporation, agent Jessica Zak, dba Travis County Bail Bonds license #202407, and take appropriate action.
Mr. Engle moved, Mr. Blackburn seconded, and the Board voted to approve the renewal application for Jessica Zak, dba Travis County Bail Bonds license #202407. Mr. Botello abstained.
D. Receive report from bail bonding licensee(s) on client check-in processes and software options and take appropriate action.
Mr. Engle provided the Board information regarding check-in processes and related software options related to client monitoring. No action taken.
E. Consider and discuss legislative agenda for the upcoming 90th session of the Texas Legislature and take appropriate action.
Mr. Blackburn moved, Mr. Engle seconded, and the Board voted to designate Annalynn Cox to meet with Travis County’s Intergovernmental Relations department regarding possible legislative changes to the monthly meeting requirements. Mr. Botello abstained.
F. Public Comment
Ms. Moreno thanked the Board for the information related to client check-in processes and software options.
Mr. Bell wished a safe holiday to the Board.
Following the completion of all scheduled agenda items and there being no further business before the Board, the meeting concluded at 12:49pm.
