How do I request an account to access ARRO

If you are an attorney or certified peace officer and would like to access to AARO; download the attorney agreement form, and submit the completed document to the District Clerk's office via email via email. A user name and password will be assigned to you via return email once we process your request.

Once you have your user name and password, you may access the site:

  • Click the Login button below, and enter your username and password.
  • This enables you to:
    • Review case information
    • Review and print case related documents

When you log in, please review the Terms of Use link on the website periodically for updates.

Restricted and sealed cases are not available through the online search.

Information regarding these cases should be arranged in person at the District Clerks office, 1000 Guadalupe St. Austin, TX 78701, Room 103.

How do I change the ARRO password that was provided to me?

If you wish to change the password that was originally provided to you to something that is easier for you to remember, you may access the Travis County Password Self Service module at pss.co.travis.tx.us In order to change your password, you will be required to setup a series of challenge questions. For security reasons, passwords must meet certain guidelines, which will be shown to you and checked off as you create your new password.

I have forgotten or lost my password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten or lost your ARRO user ID and/or password, access the Travis County Password Self Service module at pss.co.travis.tx.us if you have forgotten your user ID you will be able to retrieve it by entering your name and email address if that matches the information we have on file, your user ID will be displayed to you. If you have forgotten your password, you will be required to setup a series of challenge questions if you have not already done so. After setting up or answering your challenge questions, you will be able to create a new password. For security reasons, passwords must meet certain guidelines, which will be shown to you and checked off as you create your new password.

General Questions

What should I do when I get the following message: 405 – HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.

When receiving the 405 message, you must close your browser and all tabs to clear the browser cache. Another solution is to open a new browser to log into the AARO site

What if I forget my username and/or password?

What firewall settings should be configured on my network to allow me access to the AARO site?

Your firewall should be configured to allow 8443 traffic to the IDP cluster IP address which is 198.214.208.130

What does it mean when I get the following message when selecting the PDF icon: Document not yet available, retry after a brief delay.

The documents are being converted to a PDF format, it may take up to 40 seconds for the documents to finish. The more documents filed on the case, the longer it will take to convert the documents

What does it meant when I get the following message when searching for a case: Case(s) cannot be displayed due to sealed or confidential information

When entering a cause number, please insure the cause number format is as follows: D-1-FM-YY-NNNNNN, D-1-GN-YY-NNNNNN, D-1-GV-YY-NNNNNN, or D-1-DC-YY-NNNNNN

Is there a fee to access the information online?

The AARO service is free of charge.
