The Payroll Division is responsible for providing timely and accurate payroll services while ensuring compliance with Federal, State and County laws and policies. Additional services include tax reporting, administering and remitting employee deductions, and employer contributions and taxable fringe benefit administration.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
