The Travis County Commissioners Court funded and updated the existing Substandard Road Program. The prior Substandard Road Program was reviewed by a Court appointed Task Force. The Task Force made recommendations to the Travis County Commissioners Court. Those recommendations were Court approved on May 21, 2024. The recommendation included a shortlist of roads to move forward, to move forward based on available funding. The 2004-25 shortlist of roads is at the Exhibit A link. The 2024-25 shortlisted roads moving forward will be updated here.
2024-25 Shortlist of Roads
These shortlisted roads will be vetted and moved forward to design, solicitation, and construction. Roads that cannot move forward will be reassessed with the next Substandard Road ranking effort, anticipated to occur annually dependent upon funding.
