SCAM ALERT - Phone scams have been victimizing residents of Travis County. Pretrial Services will never seek payment for anything via Apple Pay, Bitcoin, Crypto Currency, Crypto ATM, a wire transfer, gift cards or MoneyPak, nor will Pretrial Services ever send a courier to receive payment for any matter.
Who We Are
Pretrial Services is a county-funded department that interviews defendants and makes recommendations to the Court on whether a defendant should be released on Personal Bond. Pretrial Officers also collect information for the Court's use in determining whether or not a defendant qualifies for court-appointed counsel. Our Case Management Pretrial Officers monitor compliance and provide case management to assure that defendants report to the Court and successfully complete court-ordered treatment or comply with other conditions.
