Overview

Role of the Working Group

The Working Group serves as the project team responsible for advancing the Northeast District Plan. As outlined in the Working Group Charter, the group:

• Partners with the Community Advisory Committee to engage the public and co-create the vision plan
• Provides guidance and departmental expertise across key topic areas
• Shares relevant updates from City and County departments
• Outlines/structures deliverables
• Reviews and refines planning analysis and recommendations
• Supports coordination across agencies to align efforts and priorities

The Working Group operates using a consensus-based approach to decision-making and centers equity in all aspects of the planning process.

Working Group Composition

The Working Group includes representatives from both the City of Austin and Travis County, bringing together expertise across multiple focus areas.
