PROJECT MISSION

Next phase innovation for transparent and efficient exchange of information among our justice community.

PROJECT SCOPE

Create a long-term IJS strategic plan that includes replacement of the legacy Court Case Management System (CMS), related interfaces, subsequent applications and integrated databases. Project will be broken down into three phases.

Phase 1 (Current)

  1. Establish a vision and strategy for Travis County’s integrated justice system.
  2. Establish a justice community governance structure for the system, project and impacted systems.
  3. Develop detailed workflows and functional requirements based on the collective operational needs of the integrated justice environment.
  4. Develop a business case and a procurement action plan for legacy CMS modernization that may include a Request for Information (RFI) and then Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to find a suitable vendor(s).

Phase 2

Development & configuration.

Phase 3

Implementation, data conversion, training and go-live.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
