Texas Rowing For All (TRFA) serves one of the largest concentrations of disabled veterans and service members in the USA including Fort Sam Houston, Center for Intrepid, BAMC, Fort Hood, local VA, Purple Heart Foundation and Travis County Veteran Services.
Texas Rowing For All-Paralympic Sport Austin is a 501(3) (C) organization.
Our mission focuses on enriching and transforming lives of veterans, service members and citizens with disabilities through active water sports-including rowing, SUP, canoeing, and kayaking.
Through sports participation, veterans and others with disabilities can gain meaningful new identities; heighten self-confidence; increase self worth; independence; have a sense of accomplishment; and prepare for new challenges in life. This is especially true for disabled service personnel.
