Video Engineer
Born and raised in Monroe, LA, Jeremy Mott began his broadcast career, at age 15, in radio as a Disc Jockey. In his early 20s, he trained in Radio and Television Engineering and was hired in Austin, TX in 2000 to work in technical operations for the LBJ Broadcasting Company. As a skilled technical professional, he has spent much of his career working with, and helping to develop, cutting-edge technology in the broadcasting industry.
Jeremy has held several engineering and management roles at local and national TV and Radio stations, including PGA Tour Network on Sirius/XM, and ShopLC, where he was responsible for designing and maintaining broadcast systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing new technologies. He is known for his expertise in digital content distribution, as well as audio/video production for broadcast and live events.
In addition to his work in the broadcasting industry, Jeremy has also been an active member of the Austin tech community. He has served as a mentor and speaker at local tech events, and also donates time to local non-profit organizations to assist with operating, training, and educational needs of AV and digital media systems.
Hired as Video Engineer in September 2020, Jeremy brings his technical knowledge and know-how to TCTV-17 and enjoys calling Travis County (Television) home.
