Colleagues,
The February CATAA-lyst is filling up. Early in the month we will be looking at a number of items related to our County goals of
promoting community resilience in daily living and in times of emergency, and
promoting the well‐being of our residents through social, economic, and health and safety initiatives, including items regarding:
- Our goals and the size of our monetary investment in social service contracts
- Our affordable housing policies
- The results of the American Communities Survey
- Preparation for the 2020 Census
Mid month we have a number of items related to our County goals of
promoting community resilience in daily living and in times of emergency, and
ensuring the public safety and peaceful resolution of conflicts through the justice system and other public processes, including items regarding:
- EMS
- Central Booking
- DNA Lab
- Women's Facility
- Letting of a Request for Proposals on additional civil and family courts capacity
Toward the end of the month we will be advancing our goal to
foster transportation mobility and accessibility with the selection of the first of two General Engineering Consultants on the 2017 Bond programs. And we will be rounding out the month with our first steps toward the 2018/2019 budget cycle with budget guidelines and the consideration of tax exemptions.
