While there are many other worthy initiatives to consider for ARPA funding, I see these requests as making a package that leverages and coordinates efforts and outcomes to make Travis County Safer:· Hospital Based Violence Intervention Pilot· Prosecutor-Led Gun Violence Prevention Pilot· Trauma Recover Center Pilot· A New Entry 3-year lease and repairs

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
