The Office of Parental Representation represents clients by judicial appointment only and is legally and ethically prohibited from advising non-clients in a CPS case or any legal matter.

The Travis County Office of Parental Representation (OPR) provides a voice for indigent, primary parents who have had their children removed or are at risk of having their children removed by The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services due to allegations of abuse/neglect. Our office can provide parents and families of origin with early, competent, zealous and consistent legal representation and support/case management services.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $10.39.
