Recommended Parks Projects

When projects are recommended, it signifies that they have been selected and endorsed by the Citizens Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC) for potential funding in the upcoming bond referendums.

Bee Creek Sports Complex

Complete construction of the Sports Complex including two additional fields, the pavilion and hiking trail

Gilleland Creek Greenway

Construct greenway trails and amenities from Northeast Metro Park to and including the renovation of Ben E. Fisher Park

Onion Creek Greenway

Plan, design and construct the greenway trail and amenities from Moya Park west to McKinney Falls State Park

Parkland Acquisition and Conservation

Complete strategic parkland acquisition and conservation on east and west side

Southeast Metro Park Improvements

Install synthetic turf on 4 soccer fields and 4 softball fields with irrigation upgrade and lighting including engineering and construction
