The Community Focus Committee was formed to serve as a representative sample of the overall population of Travis County. Directed by their charge, the CFC will play a key role in helping the county tailor the new facility to the needs of the community. The CFC will act as a community "sounding board" for team members as the project moves from planning, to design, and during construction.

"The CFC is a diverse and talented cross section of volunteers from the Travis County Community that has been assembled to act as a sounding board and provide feedback to the design professionals and county planners that will formulate the designs and concepts for our much needed new civil courthouse. We hope that our input will serve to make the Courthouse a comfortable, supportive and user friendly venue for the resolution of disputes and issues facing the citizens of Travis County. We will work hard to provide input that will make the new Courthouse an integral part of our vibrant city and be representative of the innovative style and reputation that our County is so proud of."
