On, December 17th, 2019, Travis County Commissioners Court approved revisions to Travis County Code, Chapter 33 which requires all vendors who are recommended to Commissioners Court for contract award to disclose

  • all business relationships with all individuals listed on the Key Contracting Persons list,
  • all political contribution in excess of $499.99 made to an elected official on the Key Contracting Persons list, and/or
  • all lobbying activities made by or on behalf of the vendor.

To complete the disclosure task, you need the following information:

  • Completed and signed Ethics Sworn Declaration
  • List of all political contributions made during the past 12 months that are greater than or equal to $500.00 in the aggregate
  • List of all lobbying activity done by or on behalf of vendor related to the contract award you are seeking

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
