Yasmin Eriksson joins the Travis County Public Defender’s Office after spending almost three years at the Crime and Justice Institute, where she assisted states and local jurisdictions across the U.S. with advancing criminal justice reform policy. She previously worked as a paralegal both at a New Haven-based criminal defense firm and at a New Orleans-based death penalty appeals clinic. Yasmin has a professional certificate in Restorative Justice Facilitation and Leadership from the University of San Diego. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University in 2019.
