Volunteer Leader Trainers are needed for a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. This self-management program is evidence-based and uses transformative techniques to dramatically improve health outcomes for older adults.

As a Volunteer Leader you will:

  • Complete a four day training to become certified in a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program.
  • Attend an additional day of training for the Building Better Caregivers Program.
  • Co-facilitate small groups with another leader online and in person.
  • Lead at least one workshop within one year.
  • Change lives.

Chronic Disease Self- Management Program Training Dates: December 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2021 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Crossover Training: Building Better Caregivers: December 16, 2021 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $10.39.
