Travis County CDBG invites you to comment on the proposed PY20 Action Plan Substantial Amendment and Citizen Participation Plan Amendment. Invitation is available in English and Spanish (Español). Comments on the PY20 Action Plan substantial amendment will be accepted for 30 days beginning June 23, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. and ending July 23, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. or by participating in a virtual public hearing on July 13, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. Comments on the Citizen Participation Plan substantial amendment will be accepted for 15 days beginning June 23, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. and ending July 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. or by participating in a virtual public hearing on July 13, 2021 at 9:00a.m. Beginning June 23, 2021, drafts of the proposed substantially amended PY20 Action Plan and Citizen Participation Plan, along with a related summary, will be available for download on the Travis County CDBG webpage at https://www.traviscountytx.gov/health-human-services/cdbg.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
