The Capital Area Rural Transportation System will participate along with many Texas transit providers, taxis and ride share services offering free rides to and from Election Day polls.
CARTS will be offering free rides to voters going to the polls during early voting October 13th - 30th and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd.
CARTS provides transportation for the non-urbanized areas of Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Travis and Williamson counties.
If you live in the CARTS rural service area, please schedule your Country Bus ride 24 hours in advance by calling 1-512-478-RIDE (7433) and indicate your wish to travel to a polling location. Schedules vary based on availability.
