The Travis County Corporations are excited to announce that construction on the mixed use project at 5325-5335 Airport Blvd is tentatively set to begin in spring 2019 and continue for 20 months. The development will include an office component, a mixed-income housing component, and a shared parking garage. The Travis County office space (approximately 80,000 square feet) will house the following departments: Health and Human Services, Veterans Services, and the District Clerk Jury-Passport Office. During construction, customer parking at North Campus will be limited. Please see the parking map of designated customer parking and keep this in mind when planning your trip to North Campus.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
