Travis County Parks, in cooperation with Travis County Natural Resources, plans to conduct a prescribed burn on the Kotrla Tract of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve on January 17, 2019. The prescribed burn will occur between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and will take approximately three to five hours to complete.

ExpiredTAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
