Coming of Age will be sponsoring a food drive to help build a NEW food pantry at the Elroy Community Center for the annual MLK Day of Service 2019 to benefit low-income seniors in Elroy.

Coming of Age will be the collection agency for the food. A collection box that reads food drive will be placed in front of the Coming of Age office at Palm Square (100 N. IH-35, Suite 3800, Austin, TX 78701). There will also be other collection sites set up at the community centers. The food drive starts on October 30, 2018, and will go through Friday, January 11, 2019.

Visit the Coming of Age website for more information about the food drive and the program.

If you need Coming of Age staff to come to your office, home or business to collect the food, please contact Debra Price (512) 854-5872. If there is anyone over 50+ who would like to volunteer to collect, deliver or separate the canned goods please let us know by January 7, 2019.
