Travis County Pct. 4 Constable George Morales III received the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Achievement Award for Public Service on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the State Capitol.

The Texas Legislature created the Law Enforcement awards in 1999, and only 20 of these awards are given out every year to 76,000 potential recipients. This is the first time a Constable from Pct. 4 has been so honored.

TCOLE Executive Director, Kevin Vickers, said: "These honorees have exceeded the normal expectations of job performance through acts of professional achievement, public service or valor. Constable George Morales exemplifies what public service is to the community."
