Travis County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty, Precinct #3, invites flood-affected County residents, especially those in the Arroyo Doble and Onion Creek Meadows neighborhoods, to attend a Flood Recovery Meeting this Saturday, December 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Manchaca Fire Station located at 665 W FM 1626, Austin, TX 78748. Commissioner Daugherty and appropriate Travis County staff will be available to answer community questions and assist residents. All County residents, who were impacted by the recent flooding, are welcome to attend.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
