Judge Eckhardt has asked that I post the following message regarding item 11 from the July 28, 2015 Voting Session of the Commissioners Court:
"Colleagues, in clarification of the vote on Agenda Item #11 regarding the amount dedicated under the proposed Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone for the Civil and Family Courts Complex, the motion to dedicate up to $100,000/year for 20 years passed on a 2:0 vote with 2 abstentions. Therefore, at this time the proposed TIRZ includes a $100,000 dedication for the purposes of the August 18 public hearing."
