In response to the positive feedback we received from you, our community, and public health officials, next Tues, January 26 at 9 am we will host another joint COVID-19 Briefing with the Austin City Council.
The proposed order of the meeting will be the same as last week:
- Travis County Commissioners Court called to order
- Austin City Council meeting called to order
- Public Comment per Travis County policy
- Briefing by Dr. Mark Escott
- Briefing by Director Stephanie Hayden-Howard
- Question & Answer – Please help us ensure the efficient use of Dr. Escott & Director Hayden’s time and manage the length of the briefing by limiting yourself to one question in the order below. If time permits, we will do a second round of questions.
- Travis County Commissioners Court by seniority and then County Judge
- Austin City Council by district and then City Mayor
- Closing of the City Council meeting by the Mayor
- Closing of the Commissioners Court hearing by the County Judge
