Downtown Parking

Parking is available to all County employees working in the downtown Central Business District. There are various locations and all require an official County permit or access card to park there. Parking is assigned based on the employee’s time (seniority) with Travis County. The web application listed below will allow employees to select a desired parking location, and it will list their place on the Transfer list. At a future date, the employee will be placed at that location. Until that occurs, the employee will park at the Lavaca garage, located at 801 Guadalupe Street, or other suitable County parking facility.

Biography

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
