Not all cases are eligible for online payments. No online payments will be accepted from those considered a juvenile as defined by certain offenses, and may include defendants who are under the age of 21.

Payments constitute a plea of no contest and will result in a conviction. A conviction may result in additional surcharges owed to the Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Contact the court if you would like to plead not guilty and request a bond.

Please allow 1 to 3 business days for your payment/case to be processed, including payments made on a weekend or holiday observed by Travis County.

Warrants will be recalled the next business day. It is important to keep your receipt for proof of payment.

If you have a Department of Public Safety (DPS) failure to appear hold on your driver’s license, please allow 1 business day for the court to notify DPS that the outstanding violation has been satisfied.

There will be a 2.75% convenience fee added to your total balance for all online payments.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
