Pyramid Drive and O’Reilly Drive Substandard Roads

Description

Upgrade substandard roads including Pyramid Drive and O’Reilly Drive to County standards and add shared use path.

Needs

This project will improve existing substandard unpaved roads to County standards as well as add a shared use path to allow students to walk to nearby schools. This will also allow the County to accept these roadways into their system for maintenance.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
