Project Background
Just off State Highway 71 in Spicewood, this 1368 acre park is the largest Travis County lake park. With two boat ramps, more than nine miles of Lake Travis shoreline and 20 coves and inlets, Pace Bend Park is where swimmers, boaters and campers can find their own private piece of nature. There are both improved campsites and primitive campsites, picnic tables, barbecue grills, fire rings, hiking trails, mountain bike and equestrian trails.
Preliminary Budget Estimate
$3,000,000
Project Details
The Master Plan will provide a guideline for future park improvements based on research and analysis of the parks current and past use and conditions. An inventory of existing assets and their condition, and an assessment of current programming will establish a vision and implementation strategy. Additionally, consideration will be given to the development of the surrounding area, specifically the proposed Hiatus Resort on the LCRA Chautaqua property adjacent to the Pace Bend Park entry.
