A native Austinite, James Valadez owns and operates a full-service real estate brokerage focused on residential and commercial sales and leasing in the Austin area. He is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Real Estate Commission, and Credit Union National Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Travis Central Appraisal District, A+ Federal Credit Union, and Austin Monitor. Valadez has previously served as a member of the City of Austin's Board of Adjustment, the City of Austin's Community Development Commission, and Austin ISD's District of Innovation Board.

He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and McCallum High School. As a member of the Travis County Citizen's Bond Advisory Committee, Valadez hopes to use his background in real estate, development, and finance to ensure a greater quality of life for the residents of Travis County.
